More late season pow?

Another Easter roles round all too quickly and with it comes the snow. It is becoming something of a dead cert that we will get a fresh dump over the holidays and like the previous 4 years this one has not disappointed. On Good Friday 2^nd April we have been blessed with a fresh covering of 5-6 inches all the way down into the town and it seems that the snow gods will be blessing the Ski Amade region with yet more snow.

Its official....... spring’s here!

Well..........for all you late season skiers it’s officially here! Spring riding is happening right now in the Ski Amade region and with temperatures reaching up to 15 degrees in the sun, there is no doubt that T-shirt riding is just around the corner.

This years best powder.........So Far?!

Well, so far, Ski Amade has seen probably its best powder day this season with up to 2-3 feet of snow falling in certain areas of the ski region. Today, we sampled what one of our local resorts had to offer- Zauchansee; and let me say it did not disappoint!

February Set For a Good Month

Well, it’s been a very good start to the month of February with 3 days of snow covering the entire Ski Amade region. Following on from the predicated reports that the first week of Feb was set to look good, it seems that there was no miss calculation as to when this weather pattern was moving in. The 1^st of the month saw a healthy 4 inches of snow fall in the early hours of the morning, swiftly followed by a dose of midday sun, burning off any remains of the cloud, simply making Monday the perfect ski haven.
