When it came to choosing the perfect base for Snowzen it had to be somewhere pretty special. The Ski Amadé area of Austria has become our favourite over the last five years and it’s easy to see why. For skiers it doesn’t matter if you’re a beginner looking for lessons or an expert wanting to hone your skills on the same World Cup runs Hermann Maier grew up on – it’s all here. For snowboarders there are all levels of groomed runs, off-piste, half-pipes and some truly amazing parks. In fact Burton Snowboards chose to locate ‘The Stash’ right here. The Stash here is one of only five in the world and the first of its kind in Austria, which is also home to Burton’s European headquarters. Sound good?

The Ski Amadé area is far too extensive to explore on a single trip so each day we’ll take you to the best areas and make sure you’re skiing/riding the most suitable terrain based on your interests, the weather conditions and snowfall. We know where to go when the snow is fresh and where to get fresh tracks when it isn’t, we know which slopes are in the sunshine at any time, which parks are best for beginners or experts and even where best to get lunch!
